Maynooth Hillwalking Club was established in 1998 to cater for the hillwalking interests of people in north Kildare and the surrounding areas.
Our Club is affiliated to Mountaineering Ireland and provides members with an opportunity to meet and participate in hillwalks mostly in the Dublin-Wicklow Mountains with occasional trips to the Mournes, Slieve Blooms, Comeraghs and Galtees.
We also organise weekend trips to the other mountain ranges around Ireland and Club trips abroad have included various mountain ranges in Austria,Italy, Germany, France, Poland and Slovakia.
Most Club hikes take place on Sundays with additional hikes organised on Wednesdays throughout the year.
